2022 Internship Program

Inspiring Women’s 2022 Internship program was able to successfully train and secure internships for 11 girls across colleges in Lahore. These students were from Forman Christian College, Lahore College for Women University, University of Punjab, Lahore School of Economics, National University of Science and Technology, Kinnaird College, and the University of Central Punjab.

They were interviewed and selected by our team for the Inspiring Women Internship Programme (IWIP). As part of the program, these girls took part in Inspiring Women’s 3-day workshop. They covered topics such as how to lead the way through their unique skill sets, how to manage finances, receive basic Microsoft training, understand work ethics, and learn communication & presentation skills.

The participants were from diverse backgrounds, college majors, and interests ranging from biotech engineering, education, computer science, psychology, and economics/finance. Thus Inspiring Women paired the girls with the internship that best suited each student’s unique skill set and personality.

Our Inspiring Women Internship Program aims to help bridge the gap that exists between the number of girls graduating from college and the number of girls working. In doing so we offer workshop and training, a panel of mentors for guidance and counselling, and internships at reputed organisations. The hope is to increase women participation in the workforce, by breaking barriers, offering real world experience and polishing the skills they need.
