Inspiring Women Internship Program is an exclusive internship program for young girls across colleges in Pakistan. The aim of this program is to help bridge the gap between the number of girls graduating from college and the number of girls working. The key is to assist girls to progress from education to employment and enable them to become active members of society.
IWIP 2023:
The program kicked off in May and the training took place from 1st June to 5th June. We trained a total of 38 girls, almost tripling the number since last year. They were placed across different industries and in positions relevant to their education across Karachi and Lahore.
Intern Meetup 2023:
The IWIP 2023 cohort meetup took place on August 12, 2023, at the Second Cup in Gulberg III, Lahore.
IWIP 2022:
The Inspiring Women Internship program 2022 was able to successfully train and secure internships for 14 girls across companies in Lahore. The training took place from 30th June to 4th July. These students were from Forman Christian College, Lahore College for Women University, University of Punjab, Lahore School of Economics, National University of Science and Technology, Kinnaird College, and the University of Central Punjab.
IWIP 2021:
Inspiring Women Internship Program 2021 kicked off with a group of 14 girls. The training took place from 10th June to 13th June.
IWIP 2019:
Inspiring Women’s first Internship Programme kicked off with a group of 14 girls! These students were from Forman Christian College, Lahore College for Women University, and the University of Education. The 3-day training workshops were held from 27th June to 29th June.

Application Process
1. Applications are open from 1st April 2024 and close at midnight on 5th May 2024
2. Applicants will be selected for interviews by 10th May 2024
3. Successful applicants will be notified by 20th May 2024
4. Skill training program will be from the 30th of May 2024 till 2nd of June.
*Please note that the skill training session will be mandatory to attend
Criteria for Interns
1. Be enrolled in a Pakistani University
2. Internships are Lahore and Karachi based.
3. Be at least a Sophomore / 2nd-year University student
4. Be prepared to work from a minimum of 45 to 60 hours/week
5. Be smart, passionate, and determined about your degree
6. Be computer literate in standard software applications
IWIP Internship 2024
1. Finalists are provided an intensive three to the five-day skill training program (Please
note we charge 3500 for the training program)
2. Finalist will be placed in an internship at our partner organization
3. Interns will be supported by our organization throughout their internship program
4. Most internships are paid

2. Successfully completed internships will result in a course credit by your college
3. Longer-term internships – 3 to 6 months are available
